About This Job
We're always looking for interns year-round! Get ready for the best learning experience of your life. You'll have an opportunity to do deep, hands-on work both with Rapleaf's internal systems and open source projects. In the course of your internship, you will be tasked with one or more actual mission-critical projects and will make meaningful contributions to Rapleaf's success. Flexible timing-Fall, Winter, and Spring opportunities available.
Responsibilities
- Contribute deeply to our real production systems - 100s of millions of requests a day, terabytes of data, millions of people.
- Learn about the business and engineering practices at Rapleaf.
- Contribute to open source projects.
Qualifications
- Smart, friendly, gets stuff done.
- Currently an undergrad or grad student.
- Looking for a fulltime internship. (Unless local-we can work with your class schedule)
- One of the best computer science/engineering students in her/his peer group.
- Great coder who is ready to learn how to be a superb coder.
- Learns new languages and platforms extremely fast.
- Intensely driven and proactive person.
- Errs on execution over strategy; willing to dive in and learn by doing.
- Thrives on chaos, risk, and uncertainty.
