Amazing Software Engineer Intern - Summer at Rapleaf in San Francisco, CA

About This Job

We're looking for Summer interns! Get ready for the best learning experience of your life. You'll have an opportunity to do deep, hands-on work both with Rapleaf's internal systems and open source projects. In the course of your internship, you will be tasked with one or more actual mission-critical projects and will make meaningful contributions to Rapleaf's success.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute deeply to our real production systems - 100s of millions of requests a day, terabytes of data, millions of people.
  • Learn about the business and engineering practices at Rapleaf.
  • Contribute to open source projects.

Qualifications

  • Smart, friendly, gets stuff done.
  • Junior and senior undergrad or grad student. 
  • Looking for a fulltime internship-Must stay a minimum of 10 weeks.
  • One of the best computer science/engineering students in her/his peer group.
  • Great coder who is ready to learn how to be a superb coder.
  • Learns new languages and platforms extremely fast.
  • Intensely driven and proactive person.
  • Errs on execution over strategy; willing to dive in and learn by doing.
  • Thrives on chaos, risk, and uncertainty.
