About Us:

Rapleaf is a well-funded San Francisco startup (we currently have 30 people on the team). We index publicly available information from the social web on hundreds of millions of people and build products and analytics on top of this data. We built the largest portable social graph in the world and we're building the platform to develop a myriad of applications.
Rapleaf's B2B arm provides deep insight about consumers for businesses. Business customers include retailers, airlines, hotel chains, social networks, lead generation firms, telcos, political campaigns, and more; these clients learn about their existing consumer base in order to provide them a better consumer experience.

Role:
•Work alongside company co-founders to grow the company’s product through strategy
•Specifically work on business development, product management, privacy, analytics, and anything else necessary to grow the company.
•Negotiate deep data deals and strategic purchases
•Take the initiative to solve challenging business and start up issues
•Research, understand, and crystallize knowledge about market spaces that can be fed back to product and marketing functions to optimize service capability
•Develop a deep understanding of Rapleaf services capability to effectively sell current products and upcoming services
•Build sales channels
•Change the world

Qualifications:

• Will be an undergrad or a recent grad this summer-2010
• Remarkably strategic and very entrepreneurial
• Super independent and self-sufficient
• Extremely flexible: ability to tackle anything that comes your way
• A real doer. Errs on execution over strategy-sees an idea and immediately goes after it
• An out of the box thinker
• You’re good at research and have no problems reading a 15 page legal doc.
• Learn new things extremely fast...We wear many hats - so will you
• Intensely driven and proactive person
• Extremely hard working. This is a start-up - team members work long hours
